The 300B audio power triode was originated by the Western Electric division of AT&T in 1935 and used at first in movie-theatre amplifiers, later in regulated power supplies. This tube has developed a cult following in the audiophile world particularly in Japan and other Asian countries. The Golden Dragon 300B is a very reliable and popular version of this classic tube.
